    "James is probably the best guide I have ever had the joy of being on a tour with. One thing is that he is genuinely interested about the Jungle, be it its medicinal plants, its animals, but also the different legends coming from the people of this magical place. During his tours you will be well taken care of (more like traveling with a father than a guide) and he is so patient - I think I have asked him about 50000 questions, especially about the birds and he asked them all proficiently and with a smile on his face! During some additional ceremonies that I booked on a tour with James, there was a point where I was not feeling well and really needed some help and he was there when I needed him and I will for sure always appreciate him for that! PS: Really hope I can come back and do this full-on-stay-in-the-jungle experience with you at a point, James! Thanks for everything!"

    "Together with a friend, I booked a three-day jungle tour with James. During these three days, we saw and did an incredible amount of things. We saw a sloth, a baby alligator, an anaconda, monkeys, and dolphins. Not everything went according to plan, because in the jungle you can’t plan when or what you will see. However, if we hadn’t seen something, James always did his utmost the next day to go out and search for the animal. In addition, James is an incredibly friendly, calm, and knowledgeable guide. Right in the heart of the jungle, I never once felt unsafe. I would highly recommend booking a tour with James!"

    "The experience we had in the Amazon jungle with James was incredible. He did his very best to share all of his knowledge with us and taught us so many things. We could talk freely with him and ask any questions we had. He is also extremely skilled at spotting wildlife: we were lucky enough to see a baby sloth, an anaconda, a caiman, tarantulas, and more. He allowed us to observe them up close while always treating them with great respect. I can only recommend this experience—it was my favorite part of Peru."

He arranged trips for us to the Amazon jungle, Machu Picchu and a plant medicine retreat and accompanied us as a guide and interpreter. We could not have asked for a better guide and he soon became a friend; our tour was so great that my daughter and another friend from the UK joined us for the last few weeks.     Cancellation & Refund Policy

    A deposit secures your spot and is non-refundable, but is 100% transferable to a new departure date within 12 months if your plans change. The remaining balance is due before departure.

    • Cancel 30+ days before departure: full refund of any balance paid beyond the deposit.
    • Cancel 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund of the balance paid.
    • Cancel less than 15 days before departure: no refund of the balance (deposit remains non-refundable).

    If we cancel or reschedule your tour (for example, minimum group size not reached, extreme weather, or safety/guide availability issues), you'll receive a full refund of everything paid, or a free reschedule — your choice.

    To cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible by email or WhatsApp with your booking reference.

    Legal Disclaimer, Assumption of Risk & Medical Disclosure

    Participation in our jungle tours is entirely at your own risk. The Amazon rainforest is a remote and natural environment and involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, insect bites, animal encounters, extreme weather conditions, and limited or delayed access to medical care.

    By booking and participating in a tour, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that the tour operator, guides (including James), and any affiliated parties cannot be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense incurred during or as a result of the tour, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence as defined under Dutch law.

    Medical Disclosure & Fitness to Participate

    Participants confirm that they are physically and mentally fit to take part in the tour activities. You are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to participation, including but not limited to: chronic illnesses or heart conditions, respiratory conditions (e.g. asthma), severe allergies (including insect or food allergies), recent surgeries or injuries, any condition requiring regular medication. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase risk and releases the tour operator and guides from responsibility for any resulting complications. Participants are solely responsible for: taking any required medication with them, informing the guide of any medical needs or limitations, assessing their own limits during the tour.

    Insurance Requirement

    All participants must have valid travel and medical insurance that covers adventure activities, emergency medical treatment, and evacuation in remote areas. We strongly recommend verifying that your insurance policy is adequate for travel in the Amazon rainforest before booking.

    By participating in the tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer, accept full responsibility for your participation, and voluntarily assume all associated risks.
